CHILDREN’S HOUSE NEWS February 2008
Dear Parents, We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 14. If your child wants to bring homemade valentine cards or store bought cards that is fine. Please bring enough cards for 25 children. I am requesting that you do not put individual names of students on the cards. Your child can sign the cards with their own name. This is a fun activity to do at home and is good for handwriting practice. February’s snack calendar is posted and went home in backpacks. Please refer to it to check your snack day and Family of the Week duties. Please be sure your child has extra clothes and socks in their box and that snow pants, boots, hat, gloves/mittens are brought to school daily. Don’t forget to label everything with your child’s name. I am looking for a parent volunteer to take small groups of children to our library one Friday morning a month.
