     Mary Host is the newest lower elementary teacher to join DMA.   She has over 25 years experience teaching in Montessori classrooms here in Milwaukee and in San Francisco.  Her training encompasses all three levels of Montessori teaching: Children’s House, Elementary and Adolescent. By adding Adolescent instruction to the curriculum, we can offer our parents the opportunity to take advantage of the full spectrum of Montessori education.

     Mary grew up here on the south side of Milwaukee.  Her dad taught at Marquette University., her mom for MPS.  She has traveled to Europe and South America, living on the island of Menorca for a year.

     She brings with her joy in teaching and a profound respect for Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision.
